Evaluate Your Eye Condition With A LASIK Test?

LASIK test

The LASIK test contains basic ocular self-evaluation questions a patient must answer. Based on the answers, patients will be recommended for LASIK via a certified surgeon.

Someone may need the evaluation test to stay in the pink and see the world with a clear vision. An eye patient may need some satisfaction from a general test that will make him conscious of the condition, whether he suffers from nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. The eye surgeon would give the treatment based on the symptoms, which could be LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL, and Contoura LASIK.

LASIK Eligibility Test

LASIK Eligibility Test

1. How old are you?

2. Have you had any substantial eye-light prescription changes in the last year?

3. Do you have any medical disorders that impact your vision, such as glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy?

4. Are you nursing a baby or pregnant right now?

5. Have you had a stable vision prescription over the last 12 months?

6. Are you taking the medicines that may affect your eyes or vision?

7. Have you experienced any eye infection or disorders in the last six months?

8. Do you have chronic dry eye condition?

9. Have you previously undergone any eye surgery or procedures?

10. What would you say about your overall eye health?

To consider LASIK, you must pass the LASIK test for qualifying eligibility criteria. If you didn’t meet the eligibility criteria, your ophthalmologist would prescribe another refractive procedure for sharp vision.

Ask Your Ophthalmologist

The ophthalmologist will prescribe several ocular tests to confirm the patient’s eligibility. If you have any concerns, you should see your eye doctor, as he may be aware of your previous medical history and can provide the best ocular treatment for your problem. If you have surgery from a senior eye surgeon who creates flaps using cutting-edge technology, your chances of achieving 20/20 vision increase.
